Vistag Media is a Michigan-based small publishing house dedicated to positive and quality publications, both fiction and non-fiction alike. Vistag Media also produces and participates in educational seminars and resources for teaching writing. Our first seminar —"World Building for Writers" was offered last autumn in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Over the past 20 years, Vistag owner Steven E. Schend has been a professional editor, writer, and textbook developer for a wide variety of publishers from Bastion Press, Green Ronin, TSR Inc., Wizards of the Coast, and Write Source (part of the Sebranek Group). He's also worked at various colleges and high schools in Michigan, Washington, and Wisconsin as an instructor.

Steven has published 3 short stories and 1 novel with Wizards of the Coast. In 2008, he will publish two short stories with Tekno Books and Daw and Blackstaff Tower, his second novel with WotC.
